NivRen Fans, Let us talk about Siddharth... but in a positive manner. It is true that most of us leave no stones unturned when we talk about our favorite character of Viren. But I am sure that many of us have noticed some positive qualities of Siddharth too. If so, why not discuss that here?
  • One positive thing I have noticed is the family attachment Siddharth has. Even though he has never supported Nivedita when she was not part of Soods, he stood up for her when the woman at the Bride face seeing Ceremony questioned him about his relationship with her. He also tried to stop Chanchal when she tries to throw Nivedita out of the Sood House.
  • Even though his Brother married the girl he loved, Siddharth's bond with Viren does not seemed to have changed. We see Siddharth's brotherly love when he happily signs the cheque of Ten lakhs (remember he refused Jawahar) and says that since he knows his brother very well he does not want him to sacrifice his likings and work in the office. He looked like a 'Proud Brother' when Viren says that he does not want to fly anymore and want to prove his worth. There is also a look of relief when he sees Viren when Chanchal threw Nivi out of the house. Siddharth also says to Viren during the Kitchen fire incident that Viren should stay at the house (and support Nivedita as his family would not spare her) and no need to accompany him and Divya to the Hospital. He also supports the Pandit's idea of NivRen completing the Puja instead of DivSid.
  • After Marriage, Siddharth has accepted Nivedita as his 'Brothers wife' and is also trying to be nice and caring to his own wife Divya which can be the first step towards moving on from his earlier relationship with Nivedita.
Have you noticed some good Qualities? If so discuss it here.

All are welcome to give comments as long as they discuss just the Qualities of Siddharth.

I liked that he is trying to move forward with Divya, even though he does not have any deep feelings for her.

Apart from the fact he couldn't stand for Nivi he is a awesome person who holds no grudges against anyone. Till now he has proved himself as a obedient son, responsible bussinessman, wonderful brother, caring brother in law and a dutiful husband. Overall good natured human being

I have written over and over again, that character Siddharth cannot be just judged from his one aspect of Nivedita....
He has many qualities, and which is slowly unfolding...and even when he did not do justice to Nivedita, and later when he realised that he made a mistake, he went ahead to Nivedita and NT dadi to apologise...
This character needs to be judged with an open mind....then only it can be admitted that his character though has limitations, is all bound by responsibility.

Great post, Anamika !!! Haven't spoken with you in while 🤗
You know, to be completely honest, I've always thought Sid to be the most realistic character on CCBM. He isn't perfect. He is flawed BUT a wonderful human being - Responsible and Respectful to his immediate family. You've already pointed out his best qualites but I loved how proud he looked when Viren said that he wanted to join the business and help out!!! He does love his little brother very much.
