I too think it could b sid. Felt like this when Divya said she wanted Nivren to spend some time alone, he looked omnious. Thats when I started thinking, he wants to kill Nivi. Agar meri nahin to kisi ki nahin types!

My guess is its Jawahar....and the person lighting the matches was a woman..so it can be Chanchal. Probabaly, Viren said that if Chanchal is not nice to Nivedita, he would harm himself.
