The episode starts with Nivi looking out her window and having flashbacks pondering on what to do in the future. Divya walks up to her and Nivi says continue doing what you are and Sid will love you eventually. Divya states how her strength is all due to Nivi. Divya is nervous the wedding is approaching and that maybe Sid will never love her. Nivi is reassuring that Sid would never let her be sad. Nivi says that as of tomorrow things will be different due to the shagun tomorrow which will be the start of new happiness. The hug.
Next morning..
Chanchal is complaining to the decorator that preparations should have already been done. Dadi is also complaining. Viren brings Sid down to involve him in the preparations. (I have to mention how much I love Viren's character. I look forward to his appearance daily. 😳 ) Viren is trying to involve him in the shagun and says to pick something personal for his bride but Sid refuses and says the elders should make those decisions.
The preparations are done and Dadi again says something rude directed at Nivi and her family. Nivi is trying to pick up the boxes when Viren steps in to help. Chanchal and Dadi are upset and shocked. Sid is also looking on. Viren tells Nivi to smile and makes an ishara towards Sid and she does. Chanchal asks Viren why he is always trying to do servants work and mentions how his arm is still hurt. The gifts are handed over to a worker and Viren tells him that Nivi shouldn't be bothered by anything. Viren asks if Sid can come over with the shagun also and Dadi says that is not appropriate. Viren says these customs are old and that one should do what makes them happy and it would make him happy to bring Sid and Chanchal reluctantly agrees. Viren cutely smiles at Nivi. 😳
Over to Divya. Divya is with her friends while they tease her about Sid.
Chanchal and Dadi come in. Naintara Dadi welcomes them. Yashoda Dadi wants Naintara to come up also but she says her blessings are with them. Sid and Viren come in. Viren specifically asks for Naintara Dadi's blessings and Chanchal cuts him off and says that they are getting late. Viren turns and stares at Nivi who is standing outside and Naintara Dadi is watching them.
Everyone is seated upstairs and Divya enters with her friends. Viren asks where the rest of the household is. Dramatic music plays. 😆 Divya leaves and everyone is wondering why. Her mother follows her and asks why she left. Divya wants to get Yash, Dadi, and Nivi but her mother says that shagun can happen without them.
Back to Sood house.
Sid's mother is showing Dadaji Sid's wedding card. He looks upset and tries to speak. Viren's father is seen walking the halls of the home.

Viren is talking to Nivi. Sid sees them and walks over. Nivi walks towards Yash. Sid thanks Viren for making everyone smile. Viren says smiles look good on everyone especially a certain person and looks over at Nivi.
