here, the matter is more grave...its about dadaji's life and death. One wrong step from Sid and dadaji might not survive. when there is an issue of life and death, no argument holds. Nivi can still be made to udnerstand later and being the gem olf a person Nivi is, Nivi will understand Sid's majboori. If Dadaji's dies, Sid will never be able to forgive himself. Sid is able to take this step just because he knows what great a person Nivi is...and that Nivi has the strength to live without Sid. The reason is Nivi once was able to sacrifice her love to give happeness to Divya.

Divya loves sid, for ehr nothing else matters, not even whether Nivi was in love. So as long as Sid does not insult Divya, its ok with him. Again, its a matter of life and death of dadaji, where Sid is silently laying down his happiness, He can take a step and prove Jawahar culprit now only...that will save him from marrying Divya. One day or the other,Sid will prove Keshav innocent, but he himself would have lost his life to time by that moment.
