Does any one know when will they telecast IGT Sid Special episode? I will not miss it for anything in the world and if i have already, thanks to these freaking exams, then i will watch it online.

It's amazing how Indian shows keep on bringing new ways to measure their viewership and success but never think of changing their themes and way the shows are run! It's the quality that matter, get over TRPS and other hell stuff!

Talking about BV...Ganga is being heavily bashed for being selfish towards her very abusive and devilish ex-sasural and Anandi is being her usual self. She made some promises of behalf of JaGan, without consulting the couple, when to BH, got scolded by Ganga and then started her apology which, as said by quiet many forum members, was actually her way of starting a lecture to for Ganga on humanity and selflessness.

I know many poor village women who have brought up their kids alone in their life and made a good living for them but here Anandi cannot get over the dictator-cum-immature Dadisa who never saw things beyond Anandi. It's getting sick! Don't BV makers know too much of anything spoils the mood...oh wait! how would they? BV still runs which means they don't know that!

Our old grannies tell us to watch indian shows as they teach our culture and not shift towards those American shows but the truth is that even Americans know how to tell a story on family drama better than Indians. I agree they are not over dramatic like us but at least the writers of the show keep the views of fans in their mind. Fans can have interactive sessions with crew members so that they know what is going wrong in the show. The writers even have to explain themselves and their current storyline to fans so they get the reason behind the current story.I mean it's all so good for the show. Here BV writers are still in dreamland where Anandi is the best ideal indian woman, individuality of a person should not matter and living with your ex-husband, when you do have a good house of your present late husband, is called women empowerment!

well I don't find Ganga saint either 😆 it is very difficult to keep your feet on ground when you become hero from zero in a short span of time.. This is what differentiates her from Anandi and this is probably BV writers want to show with her..😆

If there is anything that still holds my minute interest in current BV, it is Shiv's connection with his wife and kids and his influence on his kids lives.. IMO BV's story had lost its plot long back so even then I was watching the show only for Shiv and AnSh.. Thank God Shiv's role ended and my addiction with the show ended too 😃

Shara@ its funny to see you rant on BV just like me 😆 yesterday I was doing the same. I can guess that you're living abroad. If your granny insisted you on watching Indians serials then I feel she must have watched the shows three decades ago. The present TV serials and their stories are eithet too dramatic and mahaanta based, or else too many vamps spoil the essence of a show specially if it's a love story. Don't know what kind of culture they're showing nowadays?? For ex, In BV Sanchi falling for J her bhabhi's ex was totally 🤢. And many know how shows like UT are also, showing the female lead going through several marraiges . Never watched American shows but I can definitely say tat they wouldn't butchering relations and characters like this just for the sake of TRPs.
