But in the meantime, I was reading an article about IPK2. Seems IPK has been bought by SP from the old PH.

Now, for all those who blamed Barun's simple act of giving notice for ending the show, I ask, SP has now shown it most definitely was ready to buy IPK out and keep it going. Why exactly was the 'franchise' not for sale before? Slowly it becomes very clear who were the ones who needed the show to end. At each step, it becomes clearer that Barun was a scapegoat. It becomes clear why the storyline never resembled the original show, why a new PH couldn't be brought it, why ASRs end was gruesome or embarrassing.

For all those who now say IPK is about ArHi, I want them to know it is because of the fans that it ended the way it did, otherwise Kh wud have romanced someone else after...I still don't know how Barun managed to get through ASRs death shot. I guess it was better than having ASR leave with Sheetal. It becomes so much clearer. No wonder some involved party has never given an official statement on the end of their baby or how they ultimately quietly sold it.

*sorry, rant over*

One more - all pics are from Tolly Club in March, when he had to jump jump and jump. I have to say, he was a real sport for sitting through these many pics.

Wanted to stop by to say, today is the LAST day to submit VMs for Sobti's birthday, and I haven't received a single one as yet 😕... so if you were planning on sending one, please do so!

Man I am so waiting for some new new pics, i cannot wait to see Barun and his leading lady pose together and hopefully some other shooting/offscreen stills.

IPK2 is supposedly gonna air at the 6PM slot! Really!!! They steal the epic name and the best they can do is 6PM😕.

@ Anu: Yes the responses of all the celebrities on the TOI article are strikingly similar but i loved the fact that Barun believes in exercising the right to choose whatever he likes to do😛.
IPK ended because the PH had lost interest and wanted the show to end, they put up a smoke screen to pretend they wanted to continue with the new entrant and new love story😲 but basically they used Barun to sail through rough waters with respect to the Channel and fans.
