Don't even make me go there...

My blood boils every time I see him as Ganesh's elder brother..Yeah ! I am aware of the difference in the narrative between North and South. But there were two very strong reasons why it must have been Murugan who was younger..:

1. His significance to Tamil culture surpasses anything anyone has heard of him elsewhere. He is not an obscure entity who can be shown any which way. So if they were choosing to go with the popular lore.. it must have been Murugan as the second child of Shiva and Parvati - not a single practicing Hindu household in the South is complete without a prominent picture of Subramaniya.

2. In all the different poojas I am aware of, when the Ganesha pooja is done first and we do the different namavalis of Ganesha, he is referred to as the elder brother of Skanda/first son of Gowri...this is debatable for the kind of reference..well then anything is game for debate then.

That said...I simply love Rushi as Murugan and want his potential to be explored and exploited. Love Saadhil too..but borderline hating his Gannu avatar

they didn't shown adi shakti in such a bad light today...they also mentioned abt adi shakti many times today...today m happy with this much only that they didn't degrade adi shakti's image farthar .but i've no faith on cvs now they can do anything..😕.so finger crossed for the upcoming epis...but happy to see kartikeya back in action tommorrow's epi is going to be a power packed one ...kartikeya will be doing action and mahadev will come out of his samadhi...😊
