The movie is by the premium production house of bollywood - "Rajshree Productions" who have in the past given us family entertainers like, 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun', 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' etc. 'Samrat & co' will be starring the talented Madalsa Sharma and the male lead will be handsome Rajeev Khandelwal. The movie is known to be a commercial thriller and revolves around a plot where the character of Madalsa and her family are in some big trouble, a mystery going on in her life and how she meets Rajeev ("Samrat & Co.") playing the role of a private investigator.

The movie also stars actors like Girish Karnad, Smita Jaykar and Priyanshu Chatterjee.

Madalsa Sharma, in her first debut in Punjabi cinema, "Patiala Dreamz" will be starring opposite Sarwar Ahuja

There is romance. Even as he solves the mystery Samrat falls in love. Mixing business with pleasure, unless he romances another girl, but dont think so..
