This suburban studio was abuzz with activity, what with a bevy of stars having descended there for Kumar Mangat and Sunil Lulla's filmi do, in Mumbai.

None other than Kajol was present for the occasion, who exclaimed that she was doubly pleased to be here since "Kumarji is like a family member and because my sister Tanisha is essaying a nice role in his film."

Kajol made a quick exit but not before applauding and cheering on the stars who jiggied to a racy track.

Sis Tanisha made a rather late entry; upon which she immediately went in for a costume change like a true professional.

Moments later, she emerged looking like a zillion bucks in a canary-yellow outfit that had the cast members showering her with compliments.

Esha Deol chatted with Tusshar Kapoor before he rushed off but not before giving the mandatory soundbytes.

Upen Patel, looking like a million-bucks in his newly-toned avatar, was seen getting a pep-talk from choreographer Ganesh Acharya for a dance-sequence that was to be the first shot of the day.

"I'm a bit nervous to be doing the opening sequence but I'm sure the nervousness will evaporate the minute I start shooting" said Upen, even as several assistants fussed over him with various outfits; following which Tanisha and Upen got set to shimmy on the floor!

FAMILY TIME!

Esha seemed to be in an upbeat mood as she chatted amicably about how she is now waiting to work with her dad and maybe also her mom on screen, akin to Sunny and Bobby bhaiyya. "They have lucked out this time and I'm now waiting for my chance," said the lady who was dressed in a pretty black outfit.

I think his next movie is One Two Three Mahurat. But I'm not sure. I tried to post the pics from it but this forum didn't let me.😡

Upen Patel seems to be one of the most promising newcomers of late, and looks like film-makers are quite positive on him.
The latest is that Upen is on a bulk deal-signing spree. After Kumar Mangat signed him for ONE TWO THREE, Shree Ashtavinayak Production has signed him for three-film deal. This is yet another feather in Upen's cap for sure.

Upen Patel – the rising star

Upen Patel's career graph is on the rise. And the actor is absolutely overjoyed by it.

Even though it has been more than a year since Upen Patel got his foot in the door to tinsel town, he had a hard time winning the confidence of producers in the film industry. It was the success of Namastey London early this year that turned things around in his favour.

Today, Upen is in a secure place. He has signed a three-film deal with producer Kumar Mangat ( Omkara ) and has already begun shooting for Mangat's film One Two Three .

Now, the latest buzz has it that Upen is in talks with production house Shri Ashtavinayak for a three-film deal worth 1.5 crore.

If the deal comes through, Upen will graduate to a higher bracket in Bollywood.

Besides this, Upen is also acting in choreographer-turned-filmmaker Ganesh Acharya's comedy Money Hai Toh Honey Hai which features Govinda and Irrfan Khan in main roles.

Upen, who came to Mumbai with just rupees 50 grand in his pocket, says he finds himself on the verge of fulfilling his dream of being a Bollywood star. He ascribes his success to sheer hard work and guidance from seniors like Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.
