After being the voice of Bollywood actors, singer Kailash Kher is all set to act now.

Apart from composing and singing a song for the Rajeev Khandelwal starrer Soundtrack, Kailash is also doing a cameo in the movie. And this cameo is not about being seen in the music video for the film but is a one that is significant to the plot of the film. Kailash told us, "I am playing a small role in the movie." After a brief pause, he added, "Ek proper dialogue hai mera movie mein and I am thrilled about it." And Kailash seems to have already learnt the Bollywood way of not revealing too much about the role. When we asked him to tell us more about his role, he said, "I can't talk much about the role but all I can say is that it is a very important role in the movie and along with the song, this role will creates an impact on the audiences."

Kailash also said that he was very excited about working with Rajeev. "Mera unse kuch alag hee lagaav hai. While I was singing the song for the movie, I didn't know that I will be acting with Rajeev one day. When I learnt this, I was very excited," he said. "Next I am singing for Irrfan Khan for his film, Pan Singh Tomar, Kher added
