A special screening of Bollywood film 'Shaitan' was held in Chennai recently for Mani Ratnam (or Mani sir as he is popularly called), who is the mentor of the movie's director Bejoy Nambiar.

Bejoy Nambiar assisted Mani during the making of 'Guru', 'Raavan' and 'Raavanan' and he considered it as his duty to screen the film to his guru. "I am happy that he liked Shaitan," Bejoy says.

"I admire Mani sir a lot and his opinion matters a lot to me. So I decided to hold a special screening of 'Shaitan' for him. It was held at a popular multiplex in Chennai on June 5," the director further says.

Cinematographer Madhie and production designer Rajeevan were also present at the screening and they too were happy about 'Shaitan', which deals with the lives of six individuals. Rajeev Khandelwal and Kalki Koechlin have played the lead roles.
