I have been a silent member of the forum, but I have been watching the show since it started. Since the last few episodes I have seen a lot of anger towards Rajni. And I ask why? She speaks her mind and I think thats such a huge change from the usual bahus we have seen in the past. She has her own mind. If she believes in something, she will do it. She isnt afraid to speak up.

Also, she wants an equal relationship with Krish. She cant voice any concern she has? She cant tell him when she thinks he is wrong? She is a bahu and so she is not expected to say anything? She is right when she says if she is not allowed to speak in business matters then business people also dont have any say in homely matters (although I didnt like it when she fired Chitra to prove her point).

The one downside to her being so headstrong is that she doesnt talk to her elders before doing anything. People might misinterpret that as being disrespectful. If we go back to the earlier episodes before the marriage, she did most of the talking while her parents were always afraid to talk about their situation. I think she is used to being in control and taking care of her family.

And I dont think she was smug after the whole family was on her side. She seemed really sad after Krish got angry. The two really do care for each other.

In other words, I am not saying Rajni is perfect, she does have her flaws and plus points. Its just that she is so outspoken and confident, that people may not find her very likable.

hey ,

I do agree with you on a few points but then you are contradicting yourself in a way...We are mostly girls here and are not just against Rajni because we are biased towards Krish, its like you said Rajni isnt disrespectful or it isnt that she doesnt care...its her dominant nature that makes the relationship unstable...Krish has beena very considerate husband and has respected her feelings always. And she has always neglected him in ways, not intentionally but she has...

I do understand where she is coming from but its the way she dealt with the entire situation that makes me dislike her...Surbhi was right when she said Rajni took a risk when sorting out the Vishal issue, even then she didnt bother consulting an elder of the family...why does she have to be like that?

The way she fired Chitra and proved her point wasnt nice and to top that I just couldnt get how the Vaishnav family had a change of heart within moments...Not every realistic !

That's why I said that I dont think she is perfect. I too would like it better if she consulted Yashoda before doing something like firing Chitra (and like I said before, I didnt like it when Rajni did that) In my opinion, she doesnt consult her elders because she is used to being in charge and taking care of her family. It may appear as if she is disrespectful, but maybe its because she is used to making decisions herself and her parents never stopped her? Her parents may have given her more freedom and she is probably used to that. Thats why maybe she doesnt feel the need to consult her elders. And that may also explain why she isnt afraid to speak her mind.

I agree about how weird it was when the whole family agreed with her. Yashoda agreeing was not a surprise, but Surbhi certainly was. I expected more opposition from her. But maybe thats why they included Vishal. Surbhi always is shown as very sensitive and concerned about anything to do with Vishal. She may have thought that Vishal would think bad about her if she did injustice to the workers. Or CVs just wanted to focus on Krish-Rajni conflict and not bring Surbhi in it too.

What I mostly find upsetting is that people are angry at Rajni as she is speaking up. I have seen around the forum that people want Paulomi back as she would compromise and agree with Krish always.

I can't say about the others but I certainly dont find a problem in Rajni speakign her mind...I just want her to be considerate, if she wants to prove a point there are sensible ways to do so...She must have been in charge of all affairs before but since she is only a few days old at her in laws isnt it her job to understand their POV as well? and mainly her husband's...I am not in favour of the theory where women are expected to adjust at the laws ...its a mutual adjustment...even Krish is trying to adjust with her and has given her the space and time to feel the new surroundings but she is taking undue advantage of that I feel...u are most welcome to disagree ofcourse😆

I dont think she did wrong when she spoke her mind to Krish but she made it a big issue and I know the thought of the workers going jobless made her feel strongly about the whole thing but like she understands their sentiments, she should have tried to see the situation from Krish's business POV...She said they could find a way to keep both sides happy but there is no such way...

I just have an issue with her attitude, not her speaking her mind...she is right in her respect and should be allowed to speak, not make it a mission to have everyone side with her...

guess there is no end to this debate until they give us a logical reason for her behaviour...

oh I forgot to add about the Paulomi part...I personally want her back beacuse she understands Krish and no she doesnt always agree with him, she wasn't happy when Krish took an impulsive decision and fired that model remember?...So she doesnt always agree with him or compromise really...Its because she understands him and makes him see sense in a sensible way, most of the times if not always...

Krish is impulsive and he was plain lucky that his past decisions in business have worked in his favour but there is no guarantee that he will be right always...his character has flaws too and he might end up paying a heavy price for it...

and if Rajni thinks there could be a solution without having to sack the workers, I reckon Paulomi would've come up with it had she been there...

Hi🤗 First of all, welcome to the forum!
I agree with you on the point that her speaking her mind is totally justified. I hate it when they show that a supposed "good bahu" is someone who accepts everything just because she is a woman. I hate that with a vengeance. I totally understand where she is coming from, and I myself have had many discussions with people around me as well as in law school about this moral and socio-economic dilemma that is one of the necessary evils of Capitalism. She should have amind of herself, however she should also understand that Krish's hands are tied. He has always meant well, and never tried to bring any hardship to any worker. The Industrial Revolution created a similar situation on a macro-scale. Both are correct in their respective perspectives, but the sad part is, there is really no plausible solution- one side has to be compulsorily sacrificed.

The only solution that may be remotely possible is maybe rehabilitation of the labourers? But that is too far-fetched an idea, and what if machines are brought in in those new employing factories too? I disagree with people who are saying that she should shut up simply because she is the bahu and she can't really make informed decisions regarding this situation. I respect her for standing up for what she believes in, and I applaud the CVs for not portraying her to be this obsequious, docile bahu.

However, like Hinu di and the rest, I hate the way she created such a drama out of it. That was really selfish, IMO. Looking out for yourself does not equal misuse of power. Also, the way EVERYONE seemed to agree was really silly. REALLY silly. I mean, OK, they may agree to her viewpoint, but they DO know that breach of the contract with those Italians would mean a HUGE loss, don't they? What does Vraj mean anyway when he says "aise mauke dubaara aayenge"- so does that mean they are just keeping the workers for the time being only to sack them again? In the doosra mauka too won't the same problem arise?

P.S.- How is it that Veenaben has permanently shifted into the house? Also, I don't think Rajni has really sacked Chitra, but she said she has just to do that silly drama thing. I feel BAD for Krush and sad for the workers :( Beech mein Rajni is getting all the importance!

Aren't they kind of going against their promos which said "bahuraani toh gaay hai na?" and "un dono ke beech anban nahi hai" and all that!

Really sorry for spamming; those who know me from YPNHK forum know the reason😳

oh Shrek 🤗 welcome back!

Of course Rajni didnt sack Chitra, it was just to prove her point and Veenaphai has to be there for her comical inputs, I dont mind her at all, together with Namita she is quite fun and makes the scenes bearable :)

About the promos, I dont blame them coz they hadn't expected the show to fetch such low TRPs so they had to change the storyline within the first few weeks itself...and in the process the bholi gaay changed species and now she's a ziddi and chalak lomdi😆 (no offence meant to the character or actor)
