Finally the awaited debate contest of Book Talk forum is going to start!
However you must be reminded that you can still be a part of it if you have not signed up yet.. Yes, we still have space for 4 more participants! To become one of them please do volunteer in this thread:

Each team will have 4 participants. The authors choose for the competetion are following:
JK Rowling
Meg Cabot
Dan Brown
Sidney Sheldon
So each member will debate for its choosen author. At one time, two teams will debate against each other for their respective authors and would try to outdo each other. The judges would award each member points out of 10 so dat would make it 40 points.. And then 10 points would be given to the overall team for the teamwork and points. So basically the marking for each team will be marked out of 50.
For example if it is JK Rowling against Dan Brown, and Meg Cabot against Sidney sheldon, and JK rowling wins against Dan Brown and Meg against Sheldon, so then Jk Rowling and Meg's team will fight for the author of the year competetion.
There would be four judges. Marks would be averaged later and then would be finilized.
Rules
All participants should debate in 1 thread only which would be created sepratly for the debate.
There should be no volience, personal attacks, bashing or spamming. IF Code of conduct should be kept in mind.
Its a teamwork. So please be active in the debating thread.
No other person except the participants and the dev.team of Book Talk forum should be seen posting in the debate thread.
Marking Criteria which should be kept in mind is:
Good Points
Examples and Refrences
Rebatting to the other teams points
Outdoing the other team
Any more questions should be posted in this thread. No thank yews should be posted here. The debate will start on saturday between the teams of JK Rowling and Dan Brown. All the team members will be pmed.
