im having trouble getting the book too. the wait is 15-20 days in all libraries i think the problem is that this is a pretty new book and very popular right now...it has like 30-40 holds!! :((

The local library has it's only copy checked out, and the bookstore's only copy is a 19.99 hardcover. -_-;
I don't know about you all, but I don't really feel like buying it at 19.99.

My university library has 3-4 copies available. The public libraries will have plenty of holds though as it just got the Booker Prize this year.

Hmmm, if its a problem to get hold the book for everyone, maybe we could go with the books with the next highest votes - The Kite Runner?

^^ I already got the book from the library as luckily it was available in the best bets section but if everybody is having trouble getting that book then i am fine with reading another book too. I'll just read both the books 😛😊

@tanaz: yaar, i put a hold at my uni library..lekin there are three holds on two books 😆 lets see if i get it. hmm, we can go w/ kite runner, but that sort of has the same problem for me. :(( i think what we should do from now on is like decide the book a month in advance...like for march we should decide now so that we can get the book now. what do you think?

Can we start this from March please? I don't have a library card for the city I live in currently, and I have to go all the way to Toronto to get hold of the book. My uni library is confusing to me, so I don't go there to check out books. We can start Inheritance of Loss from March if no one minds. 😳

hey everyone!i would luv 2 join all of u!i luv reading books i'll just go check da library website 2 c if it's avaible but i totally agree we should decide da book a month in advance so we all can actually get it!well i just checked and i can get Inheritance of Loss by feb 2 so i placed a hold on it well if not then we can choose another book.
