Scarlett O'Hara is a terrifyingly engrossing protagonist.

Gone with the Wind is one of my absolute favorites!

Scarlett O'Hara was as flesh and blood a fictional character could possibly get.Sure, she made mistakes and had many flaws, but those are what made her character look real. She breathed air.To me,it was the realistic aspect of her character that made the book such a masterpiece.

Gone with the wind just moved up my to-read list. 😆
My reasoning was: Classic+Something my dad loves= boring. 😆 Now I feel really curious about it.

It was a book by Mitch Albom .. I forgot the title of the book but there is an alcoholic man whose mother is dead and tries to commit suicide but doesn't succeed and he evolves into a changed man later on.
The topic itself wasn't that fascinating but the sentiments that the author expresses were very touching.

Are you talking about For One More Day?

The only book by Mitch Albom that I've read is Tuesdays with Morrie... It's about a man who reconnects with his mentor after a long time and then the life lessons follow. It's a sweet book and I think it became really popular but I didn't find anything super-enlightening about it... No new insight really... So I never got around to reading this one even though it's on my reading list.

Rest assured, it is far, far from boring.

Do read.

Exactly.

In fact, with the exception of Ashley Wilkes, ALL of the characters were written SO well. Or maybe I just thought Ashley was a totally dull character.

Yup.. that's the one! Haven't read Tuesdays with Morrie but For One More Day definitely had new insights.. or I'd rather say that it does a great job depicting the sentiments you feel for your parents and the regret for all the times you took them for granted.. and their side of the story. I think it's something everyone can relate to and you do appreciate people you love in your life a bit more after reading this one. Might be a bit too depressing for some though.

Five People You Meet in Heaven .. I've heard the most about that one actually.. but haven't read it yet.

Wuthering Heights, people have suggested me that book time and again.
The thing is, though it's a wonderful book no doubt, it is after all a hate story.

I love how it's unique and.. different from others.

Careful! There are GWTW lovers present.

It's not at all boring, trust me. I thought so too.
It's far from boring, in fact, you might like it even. 😉

It's a must read. Do read it at least once.

Ooh! Oooh! A book suggestion!
i tried this book Bully (Fall Away Series) and I can't get it away from my head. It was wonderful, steamy, cry-ish, and will make you extremely sad for the male character. You will long for them to meet but not until the ending will you find it.

It's a must read for those who love romantic stuff. There's a speech, that the female lead Tatum gave. She puts all her heart into it. It's so heart-touching it almost made me cry.

Do try it out. ;)

Love,
Tani ❤️
