Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has read this book? If so please post your views here. I am midway thru it, I would love discussing about it.

Amish has created his own world with the book. I had great expectations going into the book and I was disappointed. Maybe because I expected more.

Dasharath and Ravan were rivals even before ram is born. Ram is considered unlucky because Dasharath lost to Ravan the year of his birth.

Both Ram and Bharath are potrayed equally worthy of being the heir to the throne

Bharat is having a love affair with the daughter of some Tribal chief.

Ayodhya is still is poverty becuase Ravan defeated the kingdom before 20 years.

Sita-swayamvar, Ram shoots the fish's eye like Arjun did in Draupadi - swayamwar.

Ram asks Dasharatha to banish him for 14 years because he broke a rule.

The real story doesn't begin in this book, it begins in the sequel.
