To start off with, I would prefer books written by Indian Authors. I would like to especially mention, Ravinder Singh, Nikita Singh, Durjoy Datta, Sachin Garg, Chetan Bhagath and Sudeep Nagarkar. They have simple writing styles, and the books aren't that long. Perfect for beginners.

When you really start getting onto reading novels, start fantasy books like Harry Potter series and Percy Jackson. And if you complete them, then trust me, you are into the reading world. You would be addicted.

Books are the perfect companions. All the best. Hope you have a lot of fun reading novels!

Pick up something simple, something short and something that is a matter of your interest. Read it in your spare time.. and after you finish it, you'll feel like you want to read more and might end up reading the book all over again or look for a new one.
