So here's what we have so far:

Reader of the Week (this would be weekly or biweekly thread)

Promotional Sig Contest

Games

Get some sig makers to make sigs of the popular book covers

Weekly/Biweekly Journal (activities of the forum, new book suggestions, new authors discovery, awards etc.)

FanFictions Discussions

Discussions of authors/books (no well-known, overrated, underrated)

Writing Contest (This can be a lot of fun... I have a few ideas in mind for this).

Discussions on a book of different genre (This is currently happening in Book Club! Please join!)

Hello guys, am mostly a silent reader here.. but what we can do is create a thread each week or maybe once a two week and write out our reviews( collected from different people who volunteer for it) for books for different genre. Like A write for Thrill books so B write for Romantic.

This way a idea of Books will also come as well as a little of activity too?

Yes! We should get some Sig makers from the Avi & Sig shop - maybe the ones whose shops are currently open?

As for the Writing Contest - I was thinking of a few ideas. We could have a simple writing contest like short stories or something.

We could also have Write the Better Scene contest where participants would pick a scene from a book they think wasn't as well written as they wanted to see. And they will rewrite it the way they think is better.

We could also have an extensive writing contest with teams and mentors for each team. We could have teams of 2-3 people who all work towards writing a story for the contest. This would be a big thing and could be forum wide.

and hmm, we can divide Writing contest in Parts etc, like writing a Scene, Write your own book, etc.
