^^ I think that CA has that effect - overdose of fairytales.. I have read where rainbows end, the book of tomorrow, thanks for the memories and the one about invisible friend. Ironically, PS I love you was the next book in line before the overdose reaction 😆

The other day I saw a battered copy of the mockingjay lying in a school corridor we were visiting. And I cannot wait to increase my reading pace so that I buy and actually read the trilogy 😊

CA's 'The Gift' is lying on my shelf. I only read the first 2 chapters and now i just can not bring myself to finish it.

On the other note i LOVED the hunger games trilogy. I think it is well-written. It is intense, suspenseful, intriguing, etc. However, it is also very violent, in some cases, graphic, and disturbing.
But its a good read. Its fun and interesting. Read it without any spoilers. Lots of unexpected events happen that will completely throw you out of the loop.

I also recently finished Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" to say that i loved it is an understatement. I have always been a fan of classic literature. I grew up reading them but this is the first book of hers that I've read and i guess i found another favorite author. I am planning to read all the books by her, since i can not read anything by the modern writers anyway :P

P.S. i read FF's. Loads and loads of FF that is also one of the reason i can not read real book *SMH*

^^ I have 'The Gift' and 'The Time of my Life' lying around somewhere in my shelf. I couldn't even read the first chapters.

I completed *Thank God* 'For the love of a son' by Jean Sasson yesterday night. And I plan to start the Godfather today. After I am done with Mario Puzo - I would like to read the Hunger games trilogy. Thanks for your review. I am violently interested in adventure reading stuff 😆

I do read a lot of FF but I have curtailed my number to a few particular ones and I don't FF hunting anymore so that should make a difference. I'm hopeful! 😊

"The Godfather" is surely something that will interest me. maybe i'll read it too, i need a break from romance like seriously.

Also i have been dying to get my hands on "On the road" by Jack Kerouac. I have heard pretty good things abt it and now that i have watched the movie, i can't wait to read.
Also everyone seems to be crazy about John Green. I am planning to read some of his books too :P

@-Dee- John green writes young adult novels. He's famous for his books "Looking for Alaska" and "The fault in our stars"

Jack Kerouac was one of the writers who introduced the "Beat generation" i.e the post world war 2 writers basically focusing on drugs, alternative forms of sexuality etc and "On the road" is based on the travels of Kerouac and his friends across America.

@.Kryptonite. IKR? I swear to God these FF are so addicting and i have read lots of FFs that are so much better than real books. Have you heard of 50 Shades of grey? That was also a FF once and look how popular it is now.

^^Thanks Tehreem :-)

50 shades of grey was an FF, seriously? I didn't know that. I have it in my cell-phone but I haven't read it yet. In May, I remember I was so addicted to a few FFs and I think that really triggered the block. At present I have not started reading new FFs and may be that has some help..😆

Yes 50 shades was a FF known as "Master of the universe". I read it in 2010, used to talk with the author all the freaking time. It was pretty popular then too. I have both the FF and the book version with me :P
I know what you mean. I do take break from FF's time to time and go back to real books. I would get bored otherwise :P
