yes vampire academy its really amazing, only I wish the series could have a better name like Shadow Kissed , but it is really amazing though you might need a little push in the first book, but I guess at the end of the book you will be hooked , but the fourth book is the best book of the series, dont miss it

simply based on the vampirism and love story of twilight and the action of HP...I'm going to recommend House of Night novels.

They're nowhere close to Twilight or Harry Potter but they're an alright read. i find the writing style too simple (but then again..so was Twilight's) its an interesting deviation from the normal "hmans bitten by vampires become vampires" and "vampires burn in the sun" and stuff...and there are immortal beings who never die until the end (ie Voldemort)

You might like them. :)

other series that i loved:

Thirst series by Christopher Pike (absolutely loved!)

Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld

Night World series by L.J Smith

and if you want a non-vampire love story, read ANYTHING by Nicholas Sparks! I love him!
