I love Paulo Coelho's writing.

I love his " The alchemist", "Like the flowing river", "Pilgrimage".😊

Who else love his writing?

Used to like his writing a lot before, now not so much. I find him repetitive and at times monotonous. Books like Alchemist, By the River..., Zahir, etc were good, however, books like Valkyries, Brida, etc made me cringe. : (
Also, I find his writing to be sexist and homophobic to some extent...don't want to extend on that though, so will leave it here.

I've only read The Alchemist... It was a good book but I dunno :P The whole 'you were destined to do this' put me off a little.

^ Totally. Another thing that I don't like about his writing is that he tends to preach a lot, rather than letting us decide what we want to believe. I understand that people have their own styles, but his preachings always put me off.

^^ Yeah! And after all the running around and everything that was so drawn-out the ending came off as quite abrupt :S

I have tried reading Brida but could not go past first 15 pages. It was like a reading in unknown language. I don't mean the vocabulary way but more so of the writing style.
I have one question for the readers of his books is that ho did you go past the first 15 pages???
