Hits-n-misses at Jaane Tu… premiere
by Divya Nair
While news channels and newspapers are abuzz with who came and who didn't at the premiere of Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, we at Zoom decided to go a step further. We have come up with the celebrity fashion quotient (FQ) of the big shots present at the do.
The Most Stylish Female
No. 5: Simone Singh sizzled at the red carpet in her wine red James Ferreira outfit with some golden accessories.
No.4: The sweet and simple Minnisha Lamba proved yet again that nothing works better than simplicity. Her handbag just enhanced the look.
No. 3: Believe it or not, bindaas Rakhi Sawant sure did dress for the occasion in a stunning dress she 'specially ordered for the premiere'. After all, Aamir Khan had sent her a personal invite.
No. 2: Mahima Choudhary outshone everyone in her glittering yet subtle outfit.
No. 1: Genelia D'Souza, the lady of the night, in her simple and sober dark pink outfit stole the limelight.
The Most Stylish Male
No. 5: Tusshar Kapoor in his half-white jacket and pants looked every bit sophisticated and stylish, unlike his usually casual-to-the-hilt look.
No. 4: Give way to the Big B as he looked nothing less than elegance personified in a very formal suit.
No. 3: Ritesh Deshmukh looked stunning, young and stylish in a black suit.
No. 2: Uncle-nephew duo Aamir and Imran Khan were strong contenders for the No 2 position. Maamu looked dashing in a suit and bow, while bhanja looked like a thorough gentleman in his formal attire, quite unlike his trendy and casual look in the film.
No. 1: Salman Khan stole the show, strutting on the red carpet in a red hot jacket looking stylish as always.
As for the fashion freaks, Jiah Khan, Shehnaz Treasurywala and Sonali Kulkarni were crying out loud for boos from the fashionistas. Despite the severe competition, Vidya Balan, the one fiercely possessive about her fashion freak tag, won it this time as well
