'Bad behaviour by judges ought to be an offence!'

I feel very upset and sad to learn about the young teenaged girl Shinjini, who had to be hospitalized under severe depression as a result of the humiliation and harassment caused to her by some uncaring judges in a reality show!

What is more shocking is that the so-called judges did not even visit her nor offered any help and assistance. This unfortunate incidence puts the judges in the dock but who would try & punish them? Is such behavior and treatment not a cognizable offence? It ought to be.

It is sad that Judges in such shows are seen to rebuke the less talented contestants... they expect young kids to have great skill and capacity of the maestros. But do they even realize that their attitude, their high-handedness causes such great psychological damage to these kids – who are conscious of the fact that they are being humiliated in front of millions of television viewers.

It is a matter of grave public shame. How can they forget their own children & their own fears? It is said that all great artistes keep their childhood alive through all ages of life. This callous disregard of the fragility... the innocence of a child is really shocking.

I am told that the entire behavioral pattern of the judges is well scripted in advance, to create hype and false drama in reality shows for the sake of TRPs. What a shame! Some people go to any lengths to sensationalize their show.

How can they forget their own struggle? How can they expect these kids to have the same standards of excellence, which they might have achieved after decades of dedication and practice? Instead of offering love & understanding to the children, they are taking out their stress, their own frustrations on the kids. It's such a pity. It's really unbearable."
