His debut movie 'Woodstock Villa', Sikandar believes, will definitely get him noticed and leave the audience completely in thrills.
Rather than making a debut with a typical Bollywood masala type movie, Sikandar has opted to do a suspense thriller but he explains, "Only love stories cannot be said to be commercial movies, even a thriller can be commercial movie, for me it does not matter whether it is commercial or non-commercial. I have given my best and that is what counts in the end."
Sikandar never decided to pursue any other career other than acting and this is what he says about his decision to continue the family's legacy. "I and even my parents knew from beginning that I was born to be an actor only. Even the atmosphere around me has been movie based - be it conversation of my parents with their friends or even the friends' circle. So, the decision of becoming an actor came naturally to me. It was not that one fine day I got from my sleep and informed my parents that I too want to be an actor."
With the recent trend of Bollywood biggies doing item songs, Sikandar too has no problems of doing one himself. He feels, "Item songs are nothing but cameos and there is no harm in doing it. If the script demands and if it's interesting one should definitely go for it."
As a child, Sikandar reveals, he was quite naughty. "My parents only can tell you what kind of a child I have been. All I can say is that I was not at all a sweet child but a very naughty one. For confirmation you can speak to my parents for it," he signs off.
