Jiah's flirting gets Shahid angry
Shahid Kapur is to blame for Jiah Khan's sudden exit from Star. Sources say the actor was put off by Jiah's aggressive manner. Shahid had a word with his pal, director Ken Ghosh and has told him to look for another leading lady.
A source says, "Shahid began to get come-hither messages from Jiah soon after they were introduced on the sets. The actress wanted to hang out with Shahid, who felt she was coming on too strong, and decided to distance himself from her. That's when he told Ken to replace Jiah."
A source says, "Jiah was the first choice for Star. The actress caught Ken's eye with her appearance in Nishabd. When he approached Jiah, she was sceptical about being part of the project because of her strict contract for the Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini. But she still agreed to be a part of it as she loved the script.Buzz is that Katrina Kaif has replaced Jiah Khan in Star. But Katrina says, "It is a sensitive issue. There is a lot of reshuffling going on. There's a huge date problem. I can always adjust dates and the people at UTV are my friends. Till things are settled, I cannot comment."
