Fardeen-Sajid split!

It's learnt that Fardeen Khan is peeved with Sajid Khan and things are apparently not-so-sugary-sweet between the two now. Reason? Well, Fardeen Khan is of the view that Sajid gave him a rotten deal with 'Heyy Babyy'. He has apparently accused Sajid of favoring Akshay and Riteish over him so far the power of the role is concerned.

Even though Fardeen Khan avoided a public showdown with Sajid, he quietly bowed out of the scene, by skipping the promos, audio launch as well as all the other celebration events of 'Heyy Babyy'. Quite interestingly, the actor was an active participant in the promos and other events of his film 'Darling' which hit the screens around the same time.

However, Sajid Khan has a different story up his sleeves. Defending his choice of cast, the director said that he didn't offer Fardeen Khan 'Housefull' since there was no role for him. As far as his absence from the promos of the film and other events is concerned, the director attributes it to Feroz Khan's ailing health that warranted Fardeen's presence.

So has Fardeen Khan opted to stay out of 'Housefull' following the rumors of his insecurity with Riteish? "I have known Riteish and Fardeen for the same amount of time. I have never been in touch with Fardeen every day but we do catch up once in a while. Just ten days ago, we met at the Marriott for dinner along with Riteish, Fardeen's wife Natasha, Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan. In fact, Riteish, Milap Zaveri and I are known as coffee-shop friends as we hang out most evenings or nights at coffee shops. That bonding was never there with Fardeen," avers Sajid Khan.
