But the LOOK actually starts from Crazy kiya re - I didn't notice the first time I watched it - but you see the growing obsession as he watches Sunehri from the sidelines - speaks volumes and volumes without a single word (versus other actors who have to deliver I L U speeches)

It culminates towards the end of In Lamhon in JA...

I feel all loved up everytime I watch Jodhaa Akbar...and this is all due to Hrithik's passsionate portrayal of the lover -king...

1-2-3 opens poorly, Race Excellent

1-2-3 has opened to a poor 30-40% opening all over. The reports are not good and the film is going to find it hard to make an impact at the box office.



Race is excellent with 35.60 crore nett business in week one. There were falls on weekdays but mostly at small centres. The film is almost certain to be a Superhit.



Black & White falls again in its second week and will finish on 5.75 crore nett business. Mumbai and Delhi have seen okay business. FLOP


Jodhaa Akbar has another good week as it collects around 2 crore nett to take its total over 60 crore. SUPERHIT

If JA had not faced all those stupuid bans in parts of India, then the net business by now would have exceeded 70 crores...
but JA is a superhit inspite of all that ...credit to the entire team 👏 👏

JA was at a disadvantage not only due to protests and bans, but also due to being a historial without any item nos, bwood dances and other masala (need I say more) needed to succeed at the bo. Can u imagine both of Bwood's most accomplished dancers did not display their skills!

So whatever it has achieved is mind boggling. Also money has poured in from overseas (I think a third of revenues came from abroad), so its overall success rate is greater than the desi figures show.

Anyway, the game is not over yet. It is still running, and IMO will release at some point of time in Rajasthan etc. I mean the opposition can't go on forever. And then will the fianl verdict will be clear.

JA is going to go the TZP way. TZP opened slowly and is now having the last laugh, it released last year and is still running.

I really hope the film releases in Rajasthan and I think the general audience will love it...TZP and JA prove that well made sensitively handled stories work with the audience
