Saif Ali Khan and younger sister Soha Ali Khan will run as torchbearers in Olympic torch relay, in New Delhi when the flame passes through India on its way to Beijing. The brother sister duo have been brand ambassadors of Lenovo computers since the last two years and through this association they will be a part of the eight member team which will include the likes of Leander Paes.
Soha says that she is quite happy to be involved in the entire exercise.
"It feels good that I'll be sharing this occasion with my brother. And it's a great feeling for both of us to be asked to be part of this relay," says the actress.
And surprisingly this won't be the first time a member of the Pataudi family has been involved with the Olympics. "As you know my dad was a successful cricketer of his time. But before that my grandmother was present for the Olympics in 1936, which was the first time this relay was held. So it feels really great!"
While many might believe that Soha's involvement in this occasion is largely due to the fact that she endorses Lenovo not many know this that the chhote nawab's younger sister has a strong academic background and more importantly is involved with a lot of charities and NGOs which she always keeps behind closed doors.
And will she attend the actual ceremony?
"We don't know that yet. I am busy filming but if I can I will try and catch some part of it! I have always been very fond of the Olympics and especially the opening ceremony. So hopefully I will try and catch this one too!" she signs off.
