Her success graph has spiraled in the last one year, and the couple of years that she has spent in the industry has made her well adept in answering questions like 'Which film of yours do you like the best?' in the most clichd manner. "All my films are special to me. They all reinstated my faith in myself! I have the confidence to do different kind of films now." Like Race ? Maybe!
About the forthcoming flick, Katrina explains, "It's a fast paced film which offers great entertainment. The styling by Anaita (Shroff) is fantastic." But talks about Katrina being disappointed about her very limited screen time is doing the rounds. "As much as I'd love myself to dominate a film, I can't expect every movie to be a Namastey London , and I am fine with it," she tells us, adding, "Though Race is an action film, I haven't performed too many stunts. The most daring thing that I've done in the movie is sit next to Akshaye Khanna who drives cars insanely fast! That was still a stunt for me! Also, I believe that people like a film for its entirety and not for a single character, so I'm happy with my little contribution."
In spite of not a very big role, Kats agreed to be a part of this multi-starrer. Was it the multi-bucks that made the offer too attractive to refuse? "No, I don't aimlessly sign films to make money. I know my job well. Abbas-Mastan are great directors, and this kind of film is a first for me," justifies Katrina.
Katrina seems to be controversy's child all of a sudden. Her catfight with Bipasha is well-known, and now an alleged break up with beau Salman Khan has made it to the news. "I am not friends with Bipasha, but we share a perfect working relationship. And that is fine with us. Sameera and I, however, are good friends. We hung out a lot together in South Africa. But all I want is for the audiences to see my films and support me like they have been doing."
What about Salman's support or the lack thereof? "No personal questions please!" she requests rather sternly, as she shifts to the next chair, preparing for yet another journo to shoot questions at her.
