Black & White Opens Poorly, Jodhaa Akbar Rock Steady

Black & White opened to a poor 15% response and is unlikely to do well, select multiplexes in big cities should pick up but probably not enough to make a difference to the outcome.

Don No1 (dubbed) opened to a decent response at some small centres but overall will not make an impact.

Chandramukhi (dubbed) did around 70 lakhs business from 200 cinemas in week one and is unlikely to improve. FLOP

Jodhaa Akbar continues to do well all over. The third week is simply fantastic with over 8.50 crore business. As expected the film has shown very small drops in week 3 especially when we take into account the ban in UP from Sunday. The film could emerge Superhit if it keeps on going this way.

Why only superhit? Jodhaa Akbar should become blockbuster even in India..it is the most beautiful film in recent years.
