It would be interesting to see what kind of couple Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor would make on the silver screen.

Many brows were raised when director Aziz Mirza cast Vidya Balan opposite the younger-looking Shahid Kapur in his comeback film 'Kismat Konnection'.

Now, director Raj Kumar Santoshi has done something similar by casting Bollywood fresher Ranbir Kapoor with Katrina Kaif, the leading lady of three hit films last year.

In fact, Katrina was part of an ensemble of heroines opposite Ranbir in Yashraj Films next production being directed by Siddharth Anand. But because the film was getting too lengthy, Katrina was dropped from the project.

What couldn't happen in the Yashraj Film will now happen in a production by TIPS.

Ranbir and Katrina will pair up for a love story to be directed by Santoshi.

The remaining cast is yet to be finalized.

It is also unclear when the film will go on the floors.

I dont think that Kat will look too old for Bir.. tho' I wish that Sona was casted instead with him.. 😛

I dont think that Sallu will be too happy with this jodi as didnt Bir get punched by Sallu because he fancied Kat or sumthing.. Im not sure if its true but I heard sumthing about it.. 😊

I think Katrina and Ranbir will look very good together. Both are tall and compliment each other.

In Vidya's case she is older than Shahid. But Katrina is 2 yrs younger than Ranbir.

No salman never punched ranbir... dey both r good frendz.. bir was even @ salman bday... luv salman... n i think it would b nice 2 c kat and bir.. with salman n sonam with special appearance in da movie...
