Kareena Kapoor knows who her best friends are. And she wants current beau Saif Ali Khan [Images] to gift her a pair!

No, it's not what you think. The actress wants her boyfriend to gift her a pair of diamond earrings.

What sparked this sudden request was the famous Kohinoor diamond, which through the ages has caught the fancy of many, including invaders and kings.

Attending a function organised on Wednesday by diamond maker Shobha Asar in Mumbai, Kareena [Images] was asked by the media what gift she would like from saif. "I would love to have a Kohinoor diamond," she laughed.

But as the famous diamond is the property of Great Britain, the actress decided to settle for a pair of diamond earrings as "diamonds are a girl's best friend."

Now, here's a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid of asking for it!

I am not an expert at this science, but from what little I know, Diamonds are not a good stone for Kareena at all. She should wear Opals instead.
