Shahid says YAHOO!

These days, lady luck is smiling on Shahid Kapoor big time, post his break- up with Kareena. So after Jab We Met, Mr Sha'hit' (that's his new name given by the trade) is gearing up to play the most important and ambitious role of his lifetime. And the man who has taken the responsibility of taking Shahid's career to the next level is good friend and his first director Ken Ghosh who is all set to make Bollywood's most expensive dance film till date called Yahoo.

And guess what USP of the film is? The special dance sequences obviously..and no, it won't be choreographed by any of Bollywood's usual chorographers, but... hold on... none other than singing sensation, Justin Timberlake's chorographer Marty Kedulka and Britney Spears' chorographer Brian Friedman who will be flying down especially to choreograph the special dance steps for the film, sometime in May.

"We have kind of closed the deal with Martin and talks are on with Britney Spears' chorographer as well. This is going to be Bollywood's first genuine dance movie," informs co -producer of the film Ram Mirchandani. Marty Kudelka who has choreographed many shows for Justin Timberlake and has also worked with J.LO, Mandy Moore, Donnell Jones, O-Town and Mariah Carey among others was approached by Ken in LA and he is thrilled at the prospect of doing a Bollywood's dance movie.

Ken who made his debut with the Shahid Kapoor starrer Ishq Vishq , is upbeat about his dream project. "This is my fastest script so far. I completed it within 5 months and narrated it to Shahid when he was shooting in Toronto. From there I went to LA and hooked up with Marty Kedulka and Brian Friedman. This movie will take dance to the next level and who can be a better actor than Shahid Kapoor. He has really evolved as an actor," says Ken. While, close up, Shahid too, is excited about dancing to the ace Hollywood's chorographer's steps. And India's latest heartthrob is obviously aware of his dancing skills, thanks to the formal training he got from Shamak Davar
"It's going to be a challenge, but I'm ready to accept it. I'm glad at the early stage of my career I'm getting something like this. I'm told it is going to be Bollywood's first dance movie and dance is my USP," says a delighted Shahid.

So is he planning to take over from Hrithik and become Bollywood's newest dancing hero? "Now, please don't start another controversy, Hrithik is an amazing dancer and I have my own style," he avers.
