Sonam refuses to be bold in Anurag Basu's - Page 2

I think its good that she's concentrating on proper roles then just attempting to make her way up by the means of skin-show roles. 👏

Yeah anyhow, sonam did not refuse this movie.. She wasn't taken because the role is hot and she wouldn't have suited it.

What? This thread isn't even about Sonam being "better" because she's a star kid. It's about something totally unrelated. Did anyone say that Sonam is better or has more values because she's a "star" kid? And how do you know Sonam didn't refuse this movie? I personally think, atleast from the article, that it was a no from both sides. I couldn't see her doing this role either, it doesn't suit her and I'm not exactly sure if she could pull it off so it's good she said she wasn't comfortable doing it.

I think we dont need to make an issue out of it, deepika was too ignored for this role becoz she was not suitable for it, and same with the case of sonam otherwise I m sure both would have love to work with hritikh 😛

I agree completely with NG. Who is talking about Sonam's values and upbringing here? What Sona does in Singapore or Pluto is entirely her personal matter and nobody needs to take mics and go around asking "Do you know what that chick did in Singapore?" Sonam said no because it the role was too bold for her image and waht she is comfortable doing on-acreen ...similarly, the production house understood that no matter how Sonam looks, she cannot shed her inhibitions for a sultry role. Plain and simple.

This thread is not about making moral judgments on anyone. It's more about choice and decisions....we can discuss "sanskaars" elsewhere.
