Shahid-Kareena : Take a bow

I am not a Kareena fan and not a Shahid fan either.But I always felt that they made a nice couple somewhere , even when people used to say things like Shahid is not successful like Kareena or that Kareena looks older than him. Today, they are not together anymore (really???). Kareena has moved on to Saif , leaving Shahid to be chased by a bevy of beauties.

Shahid was a turning point in Kareena's life. The wild, boisterous, aggressive, acidic attitude babe finally got down from her supersonic jet. She became softer, milder , more sensitive and it showed in her whole personality. He was the calming factor in her life and everybody could vouch for that. She was bubbly, lively, glowing and so much in love.Her world started and ended with this man. It's true that she was possessive ( she can't stand Amrita Rao till date) and so was Shahid but Kareena was more vocal about it. Kareena has supported Shahid a lot through thick and thin.That her love varies by hits and flops is utter hogwash.They were perfect together and Shahid had actually thought that they both will be together even when they are 80. Shahid didn't force Kareena to become a vegetarian, nor did he force her to come for satsangs.She did it for him.Kareena has a tendency to go out of her way to make her loved ones happy.

And then, entered Saif. And it's not about today – the seeds were sown during the making of Omakara itself. At a rather shakey phase in Shahid-Kareena's relationship (owing to harmless Amrita and Shahid's wobbly career), Kareena found support in Saif. Sparks flew but it was Shahid for Kareena, nobody else. But problems between the lovebirds continued – in Shahid's personal and professional life and in Kareena's inability to comprehend his mood swings and behaviour. And having waltzed with Amrita Singh, Rozza and Bipasha, Saif found Kareena. She took the leap…..

Today, they have walked away in different directions.It has been very difficult for Shahid accepting the fact that Kareena has left him but he has taken a hold of himself. He wasn't talking to Kareena for quite sometime after the break-up- not taking her calls, scolding Shabina Khan for trying to bring a truce between them. But things are better now. He has wished her well. It is true that a lot of eligible actresses have their eyes on Shahid now ( minus Vidya Balan and Amrita Rao) but he is not ready to mingle yet. Rumours of Shahid's affairs are not going down very well with Kareena though. Remember her sharp reaction in a recent interview ?.... "I don't think Shahid is all that sad and disappointed…there are so many beauties behind him…what dejection are you talking about?". Kareena is yet to let go of Shahid completely and even Saif knows that.

Kareena had more life and vigour in her when she was with Shahid. With Saif , I don't know. Something is amiss.Kareena doesn't look like Kareena anymore- the spark is either gone or else she has settled to being Saif's future. Who knows…..Saif is like a boy in a candyshop, you need to retain his fascination with you.

I just felt like talking about Shahid-Kareena even though neither of them are in the list of my fave actors. But yes, they were good and very happy together.If only they had the strength and patience to pull through a difficult phase, they would have been together till 80. Remember the gossip about the Saif-Kareena banter in Greece after Saif 'cut' his hand for her? The bone of contention was Shahid. Saif went ballistic at Kareena when he found out that Kareena made Karishma mention a 'special thanks' to Shahid on winning the best actress award.

It is a very sad ending and like you, even I hope they both find happiness in life...even though we have nothing to do with them.

well i do not think shahid careers that badly vivah was a hit and ishq vishk him and amrita have not done alot of films saif is hardly a stable influence since he changes his gf so often like you said kareena changed for good with shahid and it was nice to see 😊

Wobbly career as in the period between Ishq-Vishq and Vivaah.He has proven his mettle as an actor.Hope all goes great for him.😛And yeah, Shahid changed and matured Kareena a lot...stabilizing her electron-nature to a great extent.
