Priyanka's fighting a losing battle

Priyanka Chopra is fighting the battle of bulge these these days. The actress has beencast in Madhur Bhandarkar's next fashion and need to shed at least 8 kilograms to look like a real model.

She weighed about 54 kg when she signed the film and only managed to lose 4 kg till date. Considering that Priyanka's co-stars in the film – Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse – are so thin Priyanka has been told to get in shape to not look odd with her co-stars.

So the actress has been working out religiously been toiling on treadmills and following a strict diet.

Rita Dhody, who is Priyanka's stylist in Fashion says, "Priyanka is working out and dieting and has already lost 4 kg in six weeks. I think she is looking fine. At the rate she is shedding weight, she should lose about 1.5 to 2 kg in the next two weeks.

One needs to understand that all models can't be anorexic. Priyanka has a different bone structure and a very well-defined feminine body. Priyanka is not stick thin. And in the fashion industry, no matter how much weight one loses it's never enough."
