If you think about it 6 months is quite a long time to have a relationship with someone......and they did know each other before they got together. So if all this marriage news is true, you never know...they may feel they are ready to tie the knot!

Afterall some people who go through arrange marriages, only meet each other once of twice, at least here they know each other!

Otherwise the wedding isnt legal according to Islam..Saif is a muslim n ofcoarse a muslim cant marry a hindu..itz illegal..i wonder he SRK n Gauri are surviving..😕

Hey a very good point, and I never thought of it that way. In my mind, I just saw them as rushing, but maybe six months are enough, especially for adults, and saif's reaching forty fast, he doesnt have years and years to get to know her. If he feels he's found her, then he's ready. But i still dont want kareena settling down just when her career is on the upswing. I'm being selfish but i wanna see her work for a little more time.

^^^To be honest, even if she did marry him i don't think it will make that much of a difference to her career. Saif seems quite supportive and Kareena is too passionate and determined for anyone to stop her from working 😉

this is a very touchy issue....not for me though...because I think that they're gonna break up anyways...

But SRK was married in a Hindu ceremony as was Aamir Khan...and my guess is that Saif will get married the Hindu way too...afterall, his mother is Hindu...and she seems to have a hold over him...and Kareena's mother definitely has a hold over her...and the Kapoors are VERY conservative people who wouldnt allow Kareena to get married out of either Hindu or Sikh traditions. Lets wait and see if this even gets to marriage. If nothing else, they can get married both ways--thats a lot of Manish Malhotra designer dresses for you!!!

Well, for us it does seem like it's not that much of a time. But like someone mentioned, what if they were having an arranged marriage? 😆 We probably wouldn't say much on the fact that they don't know each other well.. or maybe some would. 😕 Sometimes it takes forever to realize how much you love someone and sometimes it only takes the first meeting. 😉

Actually, Sharmila Tagore converted to Islam to marry Nawab Patuadi. That's the only way his mother would approve of their marriage. And, I'm not sure about the Kapoor family being conservative...There was a time when they where...but I think that died out with Prithvi Raj Kapoor and Raj Kapoor. If either of them were alive, Karisma and Kareena would be disowned just for joining the film line.
