Will youth identify with this film?
If it doesn't the film will be a failure. It's a love story and people should like it.
No body show in Jodhaa Akbar like in Dhoom ?
I have shown my body in Jodhaa Akbar ! (smiles)
Research for the role?
Read books but wanted my portrayal of Akbar to be my interpretation, I relied on Ashu's instincts too. Also I usually work from the inside out. It imparts more honesty to my work.
Elephant fights?
Were very tough. Everybody was instructed to run away from those elephants except for me! I fed those elephants 50000 bananas, just to make them happy! (laughs)
Comparison with Prithviraj Kapoor?
Prithviraj Kapoor looked different and I look different!
Doing your first period film?
Jodhaa Akbar to me is all about breaking notions, challenging mind sets of people who expect only a certain kind of treatment in period dramas. Jodhaa is not a period film. It's a love story and the moment the youth is not able to identify with the film, it will be a failure.
