According to the U.S. Highway Saftey Commission "Yellow" colored cars are the safest and have the least number of wrecks. The insurance companies charge lower permiums on "yellow" colored cars as well. In addition the fastest selling reintroduced VW bugs are "Bright Yellow." So there is a pretty large market for "yellow" colored cars after all.
