Actor Salman Khan has been given permission by the Jodhpur Court to attend the unveiling of his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in London on January 15th.
However, according to the source the trip will be a very short one. "The Court has granted him permission to travel for a very short duration. His trip will be for just a day. He will leave on 14th, attend the unveiling and probably leave late that night or early next day. That's all the time the Court has given him," says the source.
The poll to choose the next Bollywood Star was conducted by Madame Tussauds in August 2007 and Salman was the clear winner in the votes received. Khan has already donated his clothes for the statue and recorded a special video that will be played at the unveiling.
He is currently enjoying time off at his Panvel farmhouse as he puts the finishing touches to the script of his film Veer. Anil Sharma has been roped in by the star to direct the film. It is believed that Khan's film, Veer, will see Sallu involved in a lot of action – something that the star's films of late have lacked. Shooting for the film is expected to begin in June.
