Last Action Hero Suniel Shetty

"Suniel's company Popcorn Entertainment will be producing a film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. Tigmanshu wrote Haasil and Dil Se and is now looking to direct an action packed film. When Suniel heard it, he liked the idea and not only will his company produce it but he will also act in it," says the source. Although no official announcement has been made it is believed that the film is based on Hollywood film Paparazzi released in 2004.

But right now it's another action film – Mission Istanbul - that is keeping Suniel on his toes. "He is producing Apoorva Lakhia's Mission Istanbul. That film is an out and out action film and Suniel is very excited about it. He is personally involved in all aspects of the film," says the source.

About Paparazzi

Paparazzi was directed by Paul Abascal and featured actor Cole Hauser in the lead. Bo Laramie (Hauser) is a famous Hollywood actor dealing with the negative sides of high publicity. He is constantly hounded by four persistent photographers who form the paparazzi and they stop at nothing to get the photos of the star. But when one of their ventures puts Bo's wife and son are badly injured in a car accident and rather than helping out they continue to take photos of the incident. This turns out to be the turning point for him who then decides to take the matter in his own hands and extracts his revenge by murdering three of the four paparazzi photographers who were responsible for the accident, then pinning the murders on the ringleader.
