The actress was to fly to Los Angeles for her untitled Yash Raj film, rumoured to be based on Mary Poppins, being directed by Kunal Kohli. On the eve of her departure, the blue-eyed-girl of Yash Raj learned that she had been booked on a long flight, while her co-star Saif was on a shorter flight.
And the infamous temper surfaced.
Long way
Rani had been told that she was travelling on the same flight as Saif and other cast members. But she later discovered that she was travelling with the crew: the technicians and assistants.
A source reveals, "Longer flights are cheaper and Yash Raj believes in cost-cutting, so they'd booked all the crew's tickets on a flight with more stopovers. Somehow Rani too found herself on the same flight.
Even though she was in first class, Rani was livid at being made to travel a longer route. And she created quite a ruckus."
