Last we heard, she is supposed to be doing Rakyesh Mehra's Dilli 6. The search is still on for the hero after Abhishek Bachchan and then Hrithik Roshan opted out. Then it was Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame. But latest reports suggest he too is not part of the film anymore.

At present, it's hard to speculate about the film as Mehra has considering the project for over a year now.

Coming back to the actual topic, I read a confirmed news that Sonam indeed signed a picture with Hrithik for Eros. So that's good.

Personally I feel Sonam is also in a fix because unlike all other star kids, she isn't a yesteryear actor's daughter. Her father still acts as lead and did equal roles with stars of today. So as Salman Khan mentioned in an interview, Anil Kapoor is kind of uncomfortable because he just started 8 years before Salman. That is Sonam's disadvantage when it comes to actors like Salman, Aamir, SRK, Saif, Akshay Kumar etc. Younger heros would be a better bet.

^^No. I didn't see making but saw the interview where Salman mentioned this. He said that he has seen Sonam growing up in front of him and coming to the sets as a kid. Like in Deewana-Mastana she would be 12 and probably called him uncle. So there is an obvious awkwardness.
