Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor come as a package these days. The glamorous couple will dance at the wedding ceremony of diamond merchant Arnav Mehta on November 25, at a suburban 7-star hotel.
Besides, Saif-Kareena, Shamiak Dawar, Dia Mirza, Upen Patel and Ganesh Acharya will also perform. An act by Himesh Reshammiya will end the evening
Arnav Mehta is a diamon exporter and he owns a company called Blue Diamond, housed at Mumbai's famous diamond market.
An insider says, 'Saif and Kareena are officially a couple now. It will be very interesting to see them perform at the event. Of late, Kareena and Saif are making no bones about their relationship. Just after her break-up with Shahid, Kareena was keeping her relationship low profile, but not any more. If they attend any event together, they walk into it hand-in-hand.'
When contacted, Priyanka Dave (Sahara Star, Assistant Manager of Events) confirms Saif and Kareena's participation. 'Yes, Saif and Kareena are performing. Kareena is likely to anchor the show as well,' she says.
When asked if Saif and Kareena have been asked to perform at the shaadi because they are the most talked-about couple in recent times, Pinky says, 'I don't think it's that way. The thing is that Kareena's Jab We Met is a big hit. Plus, Kareena and Saif have always been stars. Both are also good actors and performers.'
According to Priyanka, a Bollywood night has been organised for the evening. 'Many American guests are also expected. The function starts from morning. A lot many performances have been arranged for the entire day. The Bollywood night is slated for late evening,' Priyanka added.
The wedding of Arnav Mehta and Nimita Kothari will see many celebrities shaking a leg. Besides, Saif-Kareena, Shamiak Dawar, Dia Mirza, Upen Patel and Ganesh Acharya will also perform. An act by Himesh Reshammiya will end the evening.
