Shahid Kapur delivered a perfect take. Only, the camera wasn't functioning.


Recently, while shooting a scene for Aziz Mirza's Lucky Charm , Shahid delivered a lengthy drunken dialogue in just one take.

However, much to his dismay, he realised that the shot hadn't been canned! The entire unit gave Shahid a standing ovation when he enacted a particularly lengthy scene in just one take.

Director Aziz Mirza went up to him and hugged him. However, while they were still rejoicing, the cameraman announced that that the scene was not canned due to a technical problem.
A source on the sets says, "Shahid did the scene perfectly. He had to act drunk while doing the four-minute long scene. Everyone on the sets was impressed. Because the scene wasn't canned, they had to shoot it again. The scene was very similar to that of Amitabh Bachchan's in Amar Akbar Anthony or Hum."
Aziz Mirza confirms the news, saying, "Shahid gave a great shot but because of a technical error we had to re-shoot."
