Salman Khan's Lara Lappa!

Our khabroo saw Salman visiting Sohail's building, Coral Reef in Bandra on various occasions especially after their home production Partner's release fourth months back in July. But what was unusual was Salman's visits multiplied after the film's release and none of these were at Sohail's flat but at his Partner's co-star Lara's.

"Salman would be seen dropping in at Coral Reef more when Sohail wasn't even at the house. We noticed all these times; especially late noons or evenings, Salman would directly go to Lara's apartment. Apparently, none of these times his girlfriend Katrina Kaif, who also starred in Partner, would accompany him," our khabroo tells us.

There had been a strong buzz in the industry of Salman's growing fondness for Lara and him recommending her to most of his producers. There are also reports that Salman is miffed with Katrina for signing yet another film with Akshay Kumar with whom he shares quiet a love-hate relationship and is spending more time in Lara's company.

Our sources tell us that, "Salman was upset that Katrina signed Singh Is King opposite Akshay Kumar without consulting him and also left for Australia immediately for the shoot. She had been lately taking her own decisions when it comes to signing projects and Salman was pretty cool with that but what got him irked was that she, knowing well what equation he shares with Akshay, could have at least spoken to him about the film being offered opposite Akshay."

One wonders whether the Salman – Katrina affair has another angle with Lara Dutta, who is presently single following her break up with Kelly Dorjee.

Coral Reef

Interestingly, the building Coral Reef is meant only for Christian residents. Reportedly Lara's mom baptized herself in order to have a room in the building. Sohail, it was heard, turned to step mother Helen who is Christian by birth to buy the flat in her name.
