I agree with Deepika completely not because im a huge fan of hers but because she is absoloutely right. She has achieved everything on her own. Yes, her father is a very well known badminton player but if not for her hardwork and drive to do much better and better in the modelling and film industry, she would not be where she is today.

Sonam is Anil Kapoor's daughter and obviously she comes from a film background. Boney Kapoor is her uncle and Sri Devi is her auntie. If she decides to work with her uncle who is a reputed film director, all she needs to do is speak to him and he will straightaway start a project with her.

Sonam should not have said what she said. She started the fire and the faster she ends it, the better for her. She is forgetting that Deepika is the hottest newcomer in town today.

Watch your back Sonam 😡

it was supposed to be a cease fire between sonam and deepika fans..isnt it😆...no offense but deepika actually started it by saying she is not a film star kid...btw the aaj tak channel is a biased one...they ask strange questions... anyways lol

yaar.. do ladkiyon ke beech mein na jaane kitne conflicts media bana sakti hain

Lets face it...

Sonam has a famous actor as a father and has assisted SLB before. She's gotten one heck of an amazing banner for her debut.

Deepika's a model, and she's done a movie before. She's gotten one heck of an amazing banner for her debut.

Instead of saying that either one of these girls is the newer one, why doesn't the media ever talk about debut actresses that are really new, who probably deserve a bit more publicity?

Why is everone always after the people that everyone's always talking about...

fact is, both of dem had advantages...n neither Sonam nor Deepika are entirely honest if dey say dey made it on deir own..Deepika's parents were well-known socialites, n Sonam's dad was a famous actor..
but frankly, not every well-known socialite's daughter has made a bollywood debut n same wid actors..dere r many actors whose kids have stayed away from acting..
neither Farah nor Sanjay fools 2 cast ppl in deir films jus coz dey're well-known ppl's kids 😛 ..dey must've seen sumthin in dem, n frankly, i dont care if dey made it on deir own or not...4 me,both ROCK n will stay in bollywood 4 a long time..
as 4 media..after ash-sush n lara-priyanka dey jus needed sum1 else 2 make a scapegoat... 😛

Sonam has always said that she only got Saawariya because of her being Anil's daughter, but i don't think SLB is the type of film maker who would take an individual because they are a star kid. He saw something in Sonam, that's why he asked her and Anil to do the film.

It looks like to me the articles trying to light a fire all they have done is taken one quote and twisted it ..deepikas parents might be known but they are not connected to the industry sonams are that is all i dont see where the attack is in that everyone knows that and they have even used their parents to promote the movie i dont see why the media needs to create rifts for no reason.

Getting a break in B-wood isn't too hard if you're a star kid. But to stay in Bollywood, you need more than just the relations. Ask Twinkle or Rinkie Khanna, Tanisha Mukherjee or Abhishek Bachchan who gave dud after dud before hitting it big with Dhoom and Yuva.

These two newcomers have gotten so much attention already. 😆 They have arrived.
