Amitabh Bachchan and
Shahrukh Khan. Both the superstars have denied that there is any awkwardness between them, but recently, at the Police Fest in Andheri, the senior Bachchan showed us what the reality is.
Bachchan was enjoying the show at the fest, along with
Abhishek and
Aishwarya. However, when SRK made an entry with his
OSO team, at about 10.30 pm, it irritated the senior actor for some reason. SRK spotted Bachchan, and held out his hand for a handshake. The latter ignored him, got up, and left. According to witnesses, this was shocking behaviour, coming from the man who is known for his politeness and humility.

According to sources, the cold vibes began when SRK was selected as the host for the third season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', on STAR Plus. Bachchan could not continue as the host because of his illness. The entire Bachchan family is upset with SRK, apparently. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that SRK met his well-wishers, Bachchan-style, on his birthday. Maybe the Bachchan family feels that Amitabh's history repeating itself, in SRK's life, is not such an impressive deal.
At present, both the stars are cast together in Ravi Chopra's
Bhootnath. Ironically, in the movie, AB plays SRK's son's friend.
