Unlucky John Abraham

John Abraham has been plain unlucky that his best performance ever (yes, he is better in NO SMOKING than in WATER) hasn't quite fetched him the dividends as he rightly deserved.

After being panned by most, NO SMOKING by Anurag Kashyap got hurt further with final nail in the coffin being JAB WE MET success. Kashyap would have (rightly) been hoping that since his film belonged to a completely different genre than JAB WE MET, it would find its place in the sun too. However, audience seems to entertain itself with the feel-good outing by Imtiaz Ali.

An unconventional screenplay hasn't helped NO SMOKING either which means that the film would only have a week to salvage itself to some extent before OM SHANTI OM and SAAWARIYA arrive. Now that's sheer bad luck for John since his hard work is quite visible in each of the frames.

As a central protagonist on whose shoulders the film rested, he went all out to come up with a spirited act. Hope, his performance gets its due in the long run at least!

well think of it this way, those who genuinely do notice hard work will see johns eforts regardless of the box office draw...
so if you think about it...not all of his hard work has gone down the drain!

As long as John looks like he does ☺️, it does not matter how his movies do. With looks and body like his, he will always be in demand 😛😛😛

On a serious note, all the very best to him and i hope he comes out strong after this and gets the deserved success. 😊

John is some hot piece of metal... 😳 loll... I don't care if all his movies go flop im gonna watch every sigle one... even if its total trash!!!

Goal seems like a nice movie... can't wait to see goal... hope it goes HIT!!

After playing football, John set to climb mountainActor John Abraham has decided to reposition himself as a fun-loving and sporty entertainer. After doing the football flick 'Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal' with director Vivek Agnihotri, the actor will now feature in a film on mountain climbing to be directed by Soham Shah.

'I want to cultivate a sporty image after 'Goal'. Hence, I'm also doing a film on mountain climbing. I'm a trained footballer, I used to play 'A' position soccer and I'm a certified climber,' John told IANS.

'I was into sports before acting sucked me in. I'm a very outdoor person. And I want that image to come across in my role.

'I want people to feel that if it's John, then it's something healthy and invigorating. Even 'No Smoking' was a very sporty film,' he added.

For 'Goal', Andy Ansah, one of the best football choreographers in the world, trained John.

'All the international Adidas ads have been choreographed by Andy. He was a prize catch for 'Goal'. I was working with people like Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani and Bipasha Basu whom I love... So it was fun.'

After chain-smoking for Anurag Kashyap's 'No Smoking', John had to quit it for 'Goal'. 'I can't say it took effort. I've gone from a smoker to a non-smoker in no time.'

he is great who cares if all his films not hits am sure he will make it even bigger at some point 😊
