After landing in Mumbai post a month-and-a-half long shooting schedule in Toronto, Canada, Shahid Kapur has preferred to stay back at home without meeting up with anybody. Shahid generally makes it a point to visit either of his parents after a long trip abroad but this time has been an exception.
A close pal of Shahid told us, "After Shahid landed in Mumbai early Saturday morning, he has not moved out of his Versova house to meet anyone. He did not even go on to meet his dad, actor Pankaj Kapur who stays very close to him and mom, Neelima Azim. When we friends tried contacting him he did not pick up anyone's calls. Later after some time, Shahid replied back with an SMS stating just three words – not now, later."
"Shahid likes to sleep for longer hours once he is back from long distance flights from abroad. But, this time we realized he must have avoided sleeping as during different times his SMS replies came to some of us friends which showed he preferred to stay awake. This is truly unlike Shahid. The three-and-a-half year long affair break up fears have started haunting him more after him having landed back in Mumbai," the pal says.
"Shahid is supposed to shoot with Kareena today (October 2) for a patch work shoot at Future Studios in Goregaon, Mumbai for Jab We Met for the first time after their after their reported split. To avoid complications, the makers, have planned the shooting schedule for the day in such a manner that both will be present together on the sets for the minimum possible time," a Bollywood source informs.
"Shahid shall be coming in early wherein his solo portions will be filmed, then by late noon time, Kareena will be arriving and immediately her shots (which are just a few) with Shahid will be completed. With that, Shahid would be done for the day and he will be leaving the sets immediately," the source concludes.
